The supervisor of Credit rating agencies in Malaysia is Suruhanjaya Sekuriti (Securities Commission Malaysia). Currently registered are the following agencies:

According to these guidelines of registration, registered CRAs need to make publicly available the following information:
- Rating methodologies
- Definition of default, list of issuers in default
- Indicative annual timetable of Yearly credit reviews
- Issues on Rating watch and Subsequent rating actions
